Architechure

Finally...spring is in the air......I set out for Faust Park...the goal....shoot one of the older buildings in the "Village." The park was full of people..kids all over the place. People on benches, people under trees, everywhere - people. Great sunny, warm day...Couldn't believe it... NONE, ZERO, NOT ANY of the building were open...locked up tighter that a vault.....headed for the office.....locked up too.....headed for the carousel...that's right...locked up...last chance...the Butterfly House.

OPEN!!! Not what I planned on...but its what I had. First thought.....ISO - don't get yelled at for that again. I used mostly 200 - 400. White balance...played with it some.....tried same shot with several ISO. Considered focal length. Sat down and reread about Auto bracketing. I think I am going to love HDR.

While this is building seems to be a popular photo-op. I think it offers less variety. Still I had fun, tried to think to different ways to look at the building....the actual butterfly house offered views of the structure thru trees and shrubs, reflections against the sky, mist in the air.
Some shots worked...some not so much. Still kind of like shooting with film. If I got one or two good shots per roll ...I figured I had a good day. The difference now is I don't think about the $$/shot of the mistakes I make.
